Introduction to the United Citizens DAO
The United Citizens Decentralized Autonomous Organization ( United Citizens DAO or UNC-DAO) is the body responsible for enabling democratic participation in the IIA, WSA and soon Nektar. Any individual, regardless of race, colour, gender, language, religion, or other status aged 15 years and up may join the United Citizens DAO.
The UNCgov token
The UNCgov token is the non-transferable decentralized identity and governance token issued to verified citizens members of the UNC-DAO. The UNCgov token is necessary to connect to the Nektar ecosystem, specifically for on-chain voting and governance. It grants holders voting power with Nektar, the IIA and WSA. The first *UNCgov tokens will be issued to citizens that participate in the WSA Host Country Campaign. Following the “Election of the Managing Director of the IIA”, the UNCgov token will be fully integrated to enable participation in the governance of Nektar, the IIA and WSA.
Identity Verification
Identity verification happens online and requires : (i) an EVM wallet, (ii) a valid identification and (iii) a credit card (1CHF fee). Your UNCgov token will be issued to your EVM wallet after you verify. Your EVM wallet can then be used to sign into Nektar systems, receive NK5 and connect to apps and services powered by Nektar and the IIA.
Data Control
Your UNCgov token doesn’t store your personal details. It allows you to connect to the Nektar systems but all your actions are linked to your EVM wallet address rather than your real-world identity, which is crucial for maintaining your privacy when you take surveys, polls and when you vote.

Poll on Snapshot : Connect your EVM wallet to the Nektar Snapshot space and signal your vote for the WSA Host Country Campaign (gasless)
Step 3
Get Verified : Before the final vote of the WSA Host Verify your identity - KYC - to join the United Citizens DAO and to receive your UNC-DAO token

Vote on Tally : Connect your EVM wallet to Tally and vote between the 3 final candidates

In the coming months the United Citizens Decentralized Autonomous Organization (UNC-DAO) will be incorporated in Zug, Switzerland as a Verein (or in the territory of one of the members of the IIA ). The board of the UNC-DAO will be the governing body who will have the overall responsibility for the UNC-DAO, as well as compliance with its purpose — all in accordance with the mechanism for governance and distribution of assets. Until the jurisdiction of the UNC-DAO confirmed, the Group of Wallets allocated to the UNC-DAO will be held in Trust.
