About the Campaign
The WSA Host Country Campaign is a large-scale global campaign and defining moment for the World Sports Alliance (WSA) who is calling on citizens to vote on which country will host their Headquarters and International Academy.
Anyone older than 15* years old can join, support, vote and earn NK5.
THE CAMPAIGN
Why vote
Traditional sports movement organizations like FIFA and the Olympics request countries to bid and prove they have the financial and technical capacity to host their events. International organizations on their hand, take decisions behind closed-doors.
WSA does not require countries to prove they have any financial or technical capacity. Academies are built at no cost to countries using the proceeds of NektarX, the Nektar Global Rights and philanthropic projects built on the NK5 Chain and, to ensure democratic legitimacy, transparency and worldwide engagement, WSA decided that citizens should decide which country should host the International Academy.
This is the first time in history that citizens can participate in the decision making of an international organization and shape the future of their country so if you want to see a cutting-edge hub with advanced sports and education facilities in your city, join the campaign, support and vote for a chance to bring the International Academy home.
Impact
The country that will host the International Academy will become home to a sprawling ecosystem with a major economic impact for the host city. Hundreds of students from all corners of the world will attend every year, thousands of jobs will be created and significant multiplier effects will be felt within local communities.
