GRANT RULES
GRANT RULES
These Rules explain who can receive a free grant of NK5 as a United Citizen, how and when grants are made, and what the IIA may decide about them. Please read them together with the NK5 Terms of Service and the NK5 Disclaimers published at www.nk5chain.com.
1. ABOUT THESE RULES
1.1 These NK5 Grant Rules (the "Rules") are issued by the International Innovation Agency (the "IIA", "we", "us" or "our"), a specialized agency of the World Sports Alliance IGO (the "WSA"), domiciled at Bahnhofstrasse 21, 6300 Zug, Switzerland. They govern grants of NK5 to United Citizens ("grants").
1.2 The NK5 Terms of Service (the "Terms") and the NK5 Disclaimers (the "Disclaimers") also apply to you. On grants, these Rules prevail over the Terms and the Disclaimers, as provided in Section 1.5 of the Terms. On every other matter, the Terms apply.
1.3 Words defined in the Terms have the same meaning in these Rules.
1.4 The WSA does not make grants. The IIA alone is responsible to you for grants, and this does not affect the IIA's appointment by, or its mandate from, the WSA.
2. DEFINITIONS
2.1 "United Citizen" means a person who has become a United Citizen by casting a first vote in a United Citizens campaign, after confirming his or her identity through the United Citizens verification process.
2.2 "Campaign" means the United Citizens campaign in which the vote is cast, organized in three rounds.
2.3 "SBT" means the non-transferable membership token that a United Citizen may claim after Round 3 of the Campaign. There are two classes: an "Eligible SBT", for United Citizens who may receive a grant, and a "Restricted SBT", for United Citizens who may not.
2.4 "Grant Window" means the period after Round 3 during which grants are made, as announced on www.nk5chain.com.
3. WHAT A GRANT IS
3.1 A grant is free of charge. You do not pay anything, and you do not provide any personal data or anything else to the IIA, in order to receive it.
3.2 A grant is not a reward or payment for voting or for any other activity. Every eligible United Citizen receives the same grant, whatever the number of votes cast.
3.3 No one is entitled to a grant until it has been received in his or her wallet.
3.4 A grant does not depend on recommending, referring or introducing anyone, on taking part in any auction or other campaign, on acquiring NK5, or on promoting NK5 or any campaign. Taking part in any such activity does not affect your eligibility, the amount of your grant or its timing.
4. WHO IS ELIGIBLE
4.1 You are eligible for a grant if, at the time the grant is made: (a) you are a United Citizen; (b) you hold an Eligible SBT, claimed within the period announced for SBT claims; (c) you meet the age condition in Section 3.1 of the Terms; (d) you are not a Restricted Person under Section 3.2 of the Terms; and (e) you have not breached these Rules or the Terms.
4.2 United Citizens from restricted jurisdictions receive a Restricted SBT. A Restricted SBT does not give access to a grant.
4.3 Only one grant is made per person and per identity document. Using more than one identity, or any false or borrowed identity, makes you ineligible.
5. IDENTITY AND PRIVACY
5.1 Your identity is confirmed through the United Citizens verification process. The IIA does not receive your personal data for the purpose of grants. It relies only on the class of SBT held by the wallet.
5.2 Any personal data processed in connection with the Campaign is processed in accordance with the privacy policy of United Citizens and, where applicable, the Privacy Policy published on www.nk5chain.com.
6. AMOUNT OF THE GRANT
6.1 Each eligible United Citizen receives a grant of 51NK5.
6.2 The total number of NK5 made available for grants in the Campaign is limited to 51,000,000 NK5.
7. TIMING AND DELIVERY
7.1 Grants are made after Round 3 of the Campaign and after the period for SBT claims has ended, during the Grant Window.
7.2 Grants are sent automatically, by one or more batch transfers, to the wallet that holds the Eligible SBT. No separate claim is needed. We decide the number, size and timing of the batches.
7.3 Unless a legal restriction or a circumstance beyond our reasonable control prevents it, grants will be made no later than [Insert long-stop date].
8. OUR DISCRETION
8.1 We may refuse, withhold, cap, delay or change any grant, or the eligibility criteria, amount or timing of grants, in particular: (a) in case of suspected fraud, use of more than one identity or manipulation of the Campaign; (b) where the law, sanctions or a legal process require it; (c) where a technical failure, attack or error affects the Campaign, the SBTs or the NK5 systems; or (d) where these Rules or the Terms have been breached.
8.2 If NK5 is sent to you by mistake, or in breach of these Rules, you must return it to us on request.
9. UNCLAIMED OR UNDELIVERABLE GRANTS
9.1 If you do not claim your SBT within the announced period, you will not receive a grant.
9.2 If a grant cannot be delivered, for example because the wallet is lost or cannot receive NK5, we are not required to make it again or to send it to another wallet.
9.3 Grants that are not claimed or cannot be delivered are not reallocated to other United Citizens.
10. AFTER YOU RECEIVE A GRANT
10.1 NK5 received as a grant is governed by the Terms and the Disclaimers. It is freely transferable, and its holding and use are at your own risk.
10.2 We make no commitment about the value, price or liquidity of NK5.
10.3 You are solely responsible for any tax arising from receiving, holding, using or transferring NK5.
11. CHANGES TO THESE RULES
11.1 We may update these Rules by publishing a new version on www.nk5chain.com, and we will show the date of the last update.
11.2 A change that adversely affects eligibility, the amount of a grant or its timing takes effect no earlier than 30 days after we give notice of it, except where a change is required by law, sanctions or a legal process, or is needed to protect the Campaign against fraud, attack or error.
11.3 A change does not affect any grant already received.
12. DISPUTES AND IMMUNITIES
12.1 Any dispute about a grant is resolved as provided in Sections 15 and 16 of the Terms, including the review by the Special General Assembly and arbitration.
12.2 Section 17 of the Terms, which reserves the IIA's immunities, privileges and exemptions, applies to these Rules.
13. CONTACT
13.1 You can contact us about grants, and send any notice, at legal@iiaio.org.
